About the Museum
The Connecticut State Police Department was created in 1903.  In May, 2003, the Connecticut State Police Department celebrated its 100th Anniversary, making it the nation’s first state police department to reach such an historic milestone.  For over 100 years the Connecticut State Police Department has provided quality law enforcement services to the residents of Connecticut, to those who conduct business in Connecticut, and to the guests who visit the Constitution State each and every day.

Currently planning is underway to design the Connecticut State Police Museum.  This museum, to be known as the Connecticut State Police Museum and Educational Center, will house the rich history of the Connecticut State Police Department, and of law enforcement within Connecticut, since 1903.  The planning of this museum is being conducted by the Connecticut State Police Academy Alumni Association and by the Connecticut State Police Academy Alumni Association Museum & Educational Center Committee.
